Biography

Kara S. McCoy is an author and ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International, South Texas District. An International evangelist, she is credentialled with both the Apostolic Children’s Evangelists and North American Missions Enrolled Evangelists. She and her husband Thomas reside in Houston, Texas.

Holding a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Science in Psychology, Kara is a licensed school counselor, and is currently a doctoral candidate, completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology.

Listed with the Center for Apostolic Counseling, she sits on the board of directors of the International Association of Apostolic Educators, is the Chief Editor for the Pentecostal Pen, and contributes to many of the endorsed ministries of the UPCI.
